Tool 10

1. Students need to realize that they can make their internet experience a positive one or a negative one. I hope they realize the good that can come from being a responsible citizen. I would empower them to do great things on the internet, while keeping them safe from bad sites and people. The power of collaboration, with other students of the world that they might not other wise see.
2. I could use Atomic learning or possibly Brainpop to help them how to be a responsible student in the physical world, that would then transfer to the cyber world.
3. I would list what they already know about being a good citizen at school and in their physical world. I would then see how many of those characteristics could transfer over to the cyber world.
4. Well I would prefer to do it in person, but if I couldn't I could mention it through Edmodo or a

  1. Last year I sent off for some booklets produced by the government that we can pass out at the 5th grade Library Night in December. I have English and Spanish so maybe that will open up some conversations with parents.
